Innovate with us

Our History

Natura Campus is the materialization of a belief that has accompanied Natura for over 50 years: the most powerful innovation is born from collaboration. Long before we formalized an open innovation platform, our identity was already based on knowledge exchange with traditional communities, partnerships with universities in biodiversity research, and constant dialogue with the scientific ecosystem. This vocation for building networks gave rise to the program dedicated to structuring and scaling these connections.

It was in this context that the first version of Natura Campus was born, initially created as our official bridge to the academic world. The objective was clear: to strengthen and deepen our relationships with universities and research centers (ICTs), recognizing them as primary sources of knowledge and basic research. This phase was fundamental in consolidating methodologies and solidifying our reputation as a major scientific partner in the academic environment.

However, the vibrant dynamics of the global innovation ecosystem showed us something crucial: cutting-edge science, capable of generating disruptions, transcended university walls. It pulsed with the same intensity in technology-based startups, agile academic spin-offs, and laboratories of other visionary companies. To truly be a cutting-edge innovation hub, we needed to expand our vision and our doors.

This strategic perception triggered the great evolution of the program, which was reborn as Natura Campus Deep & Life Science. Under this new and broad identity, we reaffirm our commitment to deep science and life sciences, and expand our invitation to all innovation agents. Today, our ecosystem welcomes startups, ICTs, spin-offs, companies, and independent researchers. We are not bound to a single model; our premise is flexibility and co-creation of partnerships that generate mutual value. It is through this diverse and powerful network that we seek partners aligned with our commitments, to together create regenerative solutions that transform the world.
